Bands, Concerts, etc.

Current mood: enthralled
I have become pretty obsessed with discovering new music lately (just ask my roommate!). This has been sort of growing over the last several months, especially when I had a boyfriend that knew a lot of music that I hadn't heard before (and a variety of music at that!). I enjoyed going to various concerts with him and broadening my horizons. Last night I went to hear Cloud Cult with some friends. That was pretty cool. Very artsy. They had 2 people painting throughout the show, and video playing the whole time too. I thought their music was pretty diverse. Some of the songs were really electronic, while others were more loud electric guitar rock-ish, and then even some folky stuff. It was good! My big excitement is the Sasquatch Music Festival in 2 weeks. I don't know tons of music of any of the bands that will be there, but I have been listening to some of the bands in preparation. My friend Kevin made me a 2 disc compilation of some of the bands that will be there. It will be great!
