see the light

This season of Lent I have read and heard a number of things about seeing the light in our own lives. That is definitely resonating with me; the idea of knowing that God is taking me somewhere, but not knowing how or where or why. I want to see God's will and guidance in my life. What is the purpose of certain new people and situations in my life and how will that affect my path? Why do certain other things never change that I wish could? I want my eyes to be opened.
