usted habla español?
After a couple of years of contemplating this, and thinking it would be a good thing to do someday, I have signed up for Spanish 1!! My friend Jen and I both had decided independently that we wanted to do this, and when we were at the ballgame a few weeks ago I told her I was going to take a class. She said she was hoping to as well, so we thought it would be way more fun and less embarrassing if we had each other! :) I can totally imagine us goofing off in class already. Anyway, I know that Spanish will be helpful at my job, and will probably be more useful in general than my 10 years of French! I hope to actually retain what I learned too, and at least I know several people that speak it so maybe they can help me practice. It's pretty scary, but I'm glad I'm finally getting around to this! The class starts in about a month and will be one night a week for 8 weeks.
